Colonel Gregory P. Dewitt, US Army

Colonel Dewitt assumed duties as Director, PKSOI in April 2016. He is a career Field Artillery Officer with over 27 years of experience and two combat tours. During his Senior Service College/War College year, he served as the military Fellow to the Joint Center for Political and Economics Studies in Washington, DC. In 2012 COL Dewitt deployed and served as the chief of staff, Deputy Commander – Army for NATO Training Mission – Afghanistan (NTM-A)/Combined Security Transition Command – Afghanistan (CSTC-A). His duties included: overseeing daily operations of a joint/multinational staff and organization comprising 21 Troop Contributing Nations focused on advising and assisting the Afghan National Army (ANA); synchronizing Afghan National Army (ANA) force generation and equipment fielding; helping validated ANA capability requirements and submitting their annual budgetary justifications; and providing Combined Joint Sourcing Operational Requirements (CJSOR) documentation for NATO. Colonel Dewitt earned his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA and graduate degree in Industrial Engineering (MSIE) from New Mexico State.
