                  Postponed

The Peacekeeping and Stability Operations Institute (PKSOI) has developed the Joint Stabilization Studies Course (JSSC). Originally scheduled from 27 April to 1 May 2020, the pilot course has been postponed due to the COVID-19 restrictions. New dates will be announced once they are set.

Welcome to the PKSOI JSSC Course Homepage!

PKSOI, with insight and support from the stabilization interagency community, established the JSSC to address a gap in stabilization planning. An interagency cadre of Stability Planners will equip attendees with the ability to plan and conduct Stability Operations at the Theater level. Participants will be able to apply the 6 Joint Stability Functions. They will have an understanding of the Stabilization Assistance Review (SAR) and DoDD 3000.05. Participants will be able to understand and apply design concepts: Frame the problem, Frame the environment, COG Analysis (as a tool), Operational Approach (basic principles).
